It’s another Monday and that means another round-up of favorites and to-do’s! This week I am focusing on love, chocolate and other stuff!

Musing: What to Do

Breville Juice Fountain Plus

Juice for wellness! My son has battled several minor illnesses over the past month, so I am determined to prevent further sickness in our household. Juicing and smoothies are a great way to ensure adequate nourishment and hydration; two important components to wellness. My kids prefer homemade juice to store-bought and are more willing to try different vegetables in juices. We have had the Breville Juice Fountain Plus for over five years and it is still going strong! Would you like some of our favorite juice recipes?

Musing: What to Eat

Baci Chocolate Italian Kiss Ad

Well, it’s Valentine’s week, so I suggest you eat or buy your loves some chocolate. One of my favorite chocolates is Baci…dark chocolate and hazlenut is the perfect combo!

Musing: What to Read

The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman

Again, in the spirit of Valentine’s Day, I am recommending a book related to love and relationships. The Five Love Languages is a book that I am still surprised so many people have not discovered. I think the book offers very practical advice for understanding what both we and our partners need the most in a relationship. There is also the follow-up book titled The Five Love Languages of Children; which I also own and highly recommend! We all would benefit from taking some time to better understand those we love the most.

Musing: What to See

Somebody Feed Phil Netflix Show Images

Somebody Feed Phil is a new Netflix series following Everybody Loves Raymond creator Phil Rosenthal to different countries as he samples local cuisine. This follows another similar Netflix series of Rosenthal’s named I‘ll Have What Phil’s Having. The premise of the show is to show a “regular” guy visiting other locales and experiencing local culture and food. Phil is very likable, down-to-earth and the series will give you serious wanderlust if you like to travel and eat in the way of locals!

Musing: What to Listen To

Amanda Shires' My Piece of Land Album Cover

Amanda Shires is one of my favorite artists and while my hubby attended her husband’s concert on Saturday night, I stayed home and chilled to her newest album My Piece of Land. I actually love both of them so much, but I have been really into listening to both her voice (especially on “Harmless”) and beautiful instrumentals on the fiddle.

Musing: What to Make

Valentine's Day Bark. With white and pink candy melts. Plus conversation hearts and holiday M&M candies.

Valentine’s Day bark! Do you think parents would be made at me if I included this as part of my kids’ homemade Valentine’s? They are so pretty and although we don’t do a ton of sweets at our house, we do allow exceptions for special occasions and holidays!

Musing: What to Wear

Dr. Scholl's Black Fashion Sneakers

Fashion sneakers…I love Dr. Scholl’s slip-on fashion sneakers. They are comfortable and so much cheaper than some other brands I have seen over the last year. I have degenerative arthritis in both feet, so I am all about comfortable shoes, yet still want to remain “in style”. These shoes are perfect to slip on for day-to-day wear and running errands around town!

Musing: Who to Follow
